Last month we got the results of the “Best Customer Experience Awards 2012”. In order to choose the best companies to be awarded, 2’000 customers choose 500 companies and those companies are tested during a one year period. 250 tests are done to each company to rate the quality of services and the customer’s behavior. They use “mystery shopping” techniques as well as telephone surveys.
In 2012, the best awarded company was Apple with 988 points. In the rent a car sector the best company was Sixt with 842 points followed by Hertz with 801 points and Europcar with 721 points.
