Mukul means “secret” in Mayan dialect. Mukul Luxury Resort & Spa opened this month of February 2013 in the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua. The Emerald Cost is a 50 km stretch of Pacific shoreline. There you can find pristine jungles, rising cliffs, fishing villages, colonial architecture and untouched sandy beaches.

The resort is located on a 7 km long white sand beach and offers 37 spacious free-standing accommodations (villas) with ocean views, pool and private staff. Nicaraguan artisans crafted all furnitures and decorations to reflect the traditions of the country. Facilities include a Spa, beach club, swimming pool, nature trails and a 18 holes golf course called Guacalito. The Resort is an eco-friendly paradise with 650 hectares of lush vegetation.

The spa features 6 different themed casitas. Guests can book a spa casita for several hours during which they can enjoy a series of treatments and relax in its private garden. Each casita focuses on a different spa experience!

The open-air beach club is the heart of the Resort, guests can enjoy snacks by the pool, cocktails in the split level lounge, lunch and dinner in one of the 3 different venues. Much of the ingredients used are grown in the resort’s organic farm, sea-food is selected from the daily catch of the local fishermen and steaks are grass-fed Nicaraguan beef.

There is a special kid’s area with shallow pool, playground and activities for different age groups. Surfboards, paddle boards, snorkel gear, kayaks and water toys are provided for them at the beach.
